Little Vikings Participate in Read Aloud with Florida Based SeaTrek
Little Vikings pre-school students enjoyed a unique interactive lesson on Wednesday, January 30 when they had the opportunity to participate in a read-aloud Skype session with Sea Trek in Sarasota, FL. The read-aloud book was called “If a Dolphin Were a Fish” and was written by Loran Wlordarski. This special interactive story time offered a variety of lessons for the Little Vikings, including lessons about the ocean, learning what makes a mammal a mammal and how creatures have adapted to live in the sea. Students traveled throughout the ocean with Delfina the Dolphin as she imagined that she became other animals! The morphing illustrations were both entertaining and informative as they learned about the real differences between different animals!
