Shields Fifth Graders Compete in Spelling Bee
On Thursday, January 24, Shields fifth graders competed in their school’s spelling bee. There were 10 students who made the finals and represented each of the four homerooms. Chloe DeForrest earned the runner up spot and Dorothy DeShazo took first place by correctly spelling the word “rosette.” Congratulations to all of the participants on a job well done!
