It is the mission of the Special Education Department of the Cape Henlopen School District to prepare each student to become a contributing member of society by participating successfully in our local and global community.  We are dedicated to providing superior support and services to special needs students that promote self-sufficiency while addressing their unique needs so that they can achieve academic success as well as develop socially and emotionally.
