About the Program
-
The Cape Henlopen School District has partnered with the Lewes Public Library to bring exciting academic enrichment opportunities to our pre-k students and families this summer!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 14 to June 23, and July 5 to July 28, children who are ages 3 to 5 and live in the Cape attendance area will have the opportunity to participate in the Lewes Public Library Summer Reading Program. Tuesday’s programming will be Story Hour, and Thursday’s programming is the Performance Series. The programs will begin at 10:30am both days.
The District will also be offering free transportation. Buses will pick-up participants at designated community stops and will take them to and from the Lewes Library on program days. One adult must ride the bus with the child (ren) at all times. Siblings ages 3 and up are welcome to attend with the adult and pre-k aged child.
Please note that there will NOT be programs running on Tuesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 30.
