Tradition Continues with Class of 2025 Drone Photo

Each fall, Cape Henlopen High School continues a cherished tradition that marks an exciting milestone for its soon-to-be graduates, the Senior Class Aerial Photo. On the morning of October 21st, the current senior class gathered on the football field at Legends Stadium, to form a giant '26’, their graduation year. From high above, a drone operated by Cape High junior, Layla Conn, captures the moment, creating a striking image that represents not only the Class of 2026, but also the unity, pride, and spirit that define the Viking community.

What makes this tradition truly special is the sense of togetherness it inspires. As students stand side by side, friends, teammates, artists, scholars, and leaders, they reflect on how far they’ve come and look ahead to the future that awaits beyond graduation. The aerial photo serves as both a celebration of their collective journey and a lasting keepsake for the entire class, symbolizing their place in Cape Henlopen’s proud legacy. This longstanding tradition has been taking place since 2015.
