Sussex Consortium Celebrates Student Graduates at Annual Commencement Ceremony

The Sussex Consortium proudly celebrated the achievements of its graduating students during a heartfelt commencement ceremony held on May 29, honoring the students’ perseverance, growth, and accomplishments.

Surrounded by family members, friends, educators, and supporters, graduates were recognized for reaching an important milestone and preparing to take the next steps in their educational, career, and personal journeys. The ceremony highlighted the unique strengths and accomplishments of each student while celebrating the supportive community that helped them achieve success.

Throughout the program, students were recognized for demonstrating resilience, determination, leadership, and personal growth. In a video shared with guests, graduates reflected on their experiences, the relationships they built, and the lessons they learned during their time at the Sussex Consortium.

“The Sussex Consortium is dedicated to helping every student discover their potential and achieve success in ways that are meaningful to them,” said Dr. Vivian Bush, Sussex Consortium principal. “We celebrated the hard work and perseverance of our graduates and recognized the many educators, staff members, families, and community partners who have supported them along the way. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.”

The ceremony also served as an opportunity to recognize the commitment of teachers, support staff, and families whose encouragement and guidance played an important role in each student's journey. As graduates came forward to receive their diplomas, they were met with applause and encouragement from loved ones and staff members who have witnessed their growth and achievements firsthand.
