Rehoboth Elementary Students Explore Future Careers During Interactive Career Day

Rehoboth Elementary School recently hosted an exciting and engaging Career Day, providing students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about a variety of professions and the important roles they play in our community.

The event welcomed numerous parents and community members who volunteered their time to share their knowledge, experiences, and passion for their careers. Students rotated through interactive stations featuring professions such as police officers, nurses, chefs, veterinarians, construction managers, and dental assistants. Presenters discussed their daily responsibilities, demonstrated tools used in their work, and explained how their careers positively impact others.

Throughout the day, students asked thoughtful questions, explored real-world equipment, and made meaningful connections between classroom learning and future career opportunities. Many presenters also shared personal stories about their career journeys, helping students understand the many different paths available to achieve their goals.

“Career Day gave our students an incredible opportunity to see the real-world connections between what they are learning in school and the possibilities that exist for their future,” said second grade teacher Brandy Zmuda. “Seeing students so engaged, curious, and excited to learn from members of our community made the day extra special.”

Rehoboth Elementary extends its appreciation to all of the parents and community members who participated and helped make the event a success. Their willingness to invest in students and share their experiences not only created a memorable learning opportunity but also helped strengthen school-community connections.
