Rehoboth Elementary Hosts MLL Family Night

Rehoboth Elementary Hosts MLL Family Night

Rehoboth Elementary School proudly welcomed new and returning families for a fun and informative Multilingual Learner Family Night on Monday, October 20! The event brought together families and their children to connect with staff, learn about school procedures, rules, and expectations, and engage in activities that promote success both in and out of the classroom. Families participated in hands-on “make and take” sessions, creating materials and games designed to support reading, writing, and math practice at home. With the guidance of Cape Henlopen High School volunteer Amanda Lima-Rodrigues and Rehoboth Elementary teachers Kim Cross, Victoria Ksebe, and Samantha Buttridge, families explored strategies to reinforce learning while building confidence in their children’s academic abilities. The evening served as both a celebration of community and a valuable opportunity to empower families with the tools and knowledge to help their children grow and succeed throughout the school year!
