Pete the Cat Visits Milton Elementary School with Real Aloud Delaware

Mrs. Lewis’ Kindergarten Class with Pete the Cat and Pete’s Pal, Jan Benjamin

On October 17, Milton Elementary Kindergarten and first-grade students had the exciting opportunity to welcome Read Aloud Delaware to their school for a special story time visit featuring the beloved character Pete the Cat. During the visit, students listened to Pete the Cat's and His Four Groovy Buttons, a fun and engaging story that had them laughing and singing along as Pete navigated a series of silly challenges with his buttons. In addition to enjoying the story, students participated in interactive activities that encouraged discussion, movement, and a deeper connection to the characters and events in the book. The visit not only brought joy and excitement to the classroom but also highlighted the importance of early literacy and the fun of reading aloud. It was a memorable experience that left students smiling, engaged, and inspired to continue exploring the wonderful world of books.
