Little Vikings Teachers Attend Making a Difference Conference

Linda Thomas, Bethany Tyndall, Jess Horton, and Jen Williams

On October 17, Little Vikings Preschool teachers attended the 2025 Making a Difference Conference, themed “Moving Forward – Anything is Possible in Early Childhood!”,  held at Bally’s in Dover, Delaware. This full-day professional development event brought together up to 500 early childhood educators from across the state, creating an inspiring atmosphere of collaboration and learning. Participants had the opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences, and gain new insights to support the success of our youngest learners. Throughout the day, attendees took part in engaging and interactive workshops covering a wide range of topics including challenging behaviors, mindfulness, S.T.E.A.M., play, trauma, literacy, and social-emotional development. The conference provided valuable tools and fresh ideas for teachers to bring back to their classrooms, reinforcing their commitment to helping every child grow, thrive, and reach their fullest potential.
