H.O. Brittingham Elementary Receives Grant to Support Math and Science Education

Baker Petroleum representative, Holly Baker (center) presented a check to HOB Principal, Yvette Davenport, Assistant Principal, Dr. Jennifer Chaffinch and third grade teacher Dr. Heather Fisher.

On Friday, September 18, H.O. Brittingham Elementary School received a generous grant from Baker Petroleum representative Holly Baker, which was provided in collaboration with ExxonMobil’s Educational Alliance Program.

The funding will support math and science education at H.O. Brittingham by providing additional resources and creating engaging learning opportunities for students. These resources will help students explore key concepts through hands-on experiences and encourage curiosity, problem-solving and a deeper understanding of math and science.

The grant represents a meaningful investment in H.O. Brittingham students and the educational experiences available to them. The school is grateful for community partners like Baker Petroleum and ExxonMobil that recognize the importance of supporting local schools and investing in the success of our students. Thank you for your commitment in helping HOB students learn, explore and grow!
