Cape Henlopen School District is proud to announce that several members of its teaching staff have successfully earned National Board Certification, one of the highest professional distinctions available to educators in the United States.

This prestigious certification, awarded by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, recognizes teachers who meet rigorous standards through a comprehensive, performance-based assessment. The process requires educators to demonstrate deep content knowledge, effective instructional practices, and a strong commitment to student learning and achievement.

The newly certified teachers represent a range of grade levels and subject areas across the district. Their achievement reflects not only individual dedication and expertise, but also the district’s ongoing commitment to professional growth and instructional excellence.

“Earning National Board Certification is an extraordinary accomplishment and a true reflection of a teacher’s commitment to their craft and to our students,” said Superintendent Dr. Jenny Nauman. “We are incredibly proud of these educators for their dedication, perseverance, and passion. Their work makes a difference every day in our classrooms, and that impact reaches far beyond our schools into the strength of our entire Cape community.”
