Cape Henlopen School District utilizes the EVOLV Weapons Detection system at all home football games, in addition to other large events.

The Cape Henlopen School District has school sponsored sports teams at both the middle school and high school level. The District also has several unified teams that are comprised of typical peer athletes and student athletes with intellectual and physical disabilities. Each year, over 700 students participate in school athletics.
