Be a Mentor, Change a Life
Do you have time to meet with a student once a week?
-
The Cape Henlopen School District is launching its first District-wide Mentorship Program. In partnership with Connecting Generations®, the District is aiming to provide mentors for Cape students. The program focuses on the social and emotional well-being of the students by providing a relatable role model to meet with a student weekly.
Applicants must be able to complete a background check and provide references to be accepted. Mentors will also be required to participate in a three-hour training course.
How do I apply?
-
Applications are available online at connecting-generations.org. Visit the Become a Mentor page to apply. A paper application can also be picked up at the Cape Henlopen School District, District Office, 1270 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
