About Mr. Pierce
My name is Scott Pierce. The 2019-2020 school year is the beginning of my 21st year teaching. I am married with two wonderful children. I graduated from the University of Maine in 1994 and started working the following year at The Benedictine School for Exceptional children in Maryland. In 2004 I received a Masters Degree from Wilmington University in Special Education. In 2005 I was fortunate to get a job working in the Cape Henlopen School District as a Special Educator and have been here ever since as there is no other place I would rather be. In this classroom, We try to foster a sense of belonging and confidence in the students.
We follow three basic rules that encompass all aspects of the learning environment. “Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe”.
