...So you took the PSAT/NMSQT, What's Next?

  • First of all, KUDOS! This test is important in order to prepare for the SAT. 

    Here is what is next:

    1. Log in to or create a College Board account online to see your scores by clicking here.
      • PLEASE NOTE: if you already have a College Board Account, DO NOT create another one! Contact College Board at 1-866-315-6068. 
    2. Get free, personalized SAT practice. Your PSAT/NMSQT is great preparation for the SAT. Your score unlocks a free, personalized practice plan through Khan Academy. Access that plan here.
    3. Receive AP course recommendations. Your score report identifies AP courses that are the best match for you. 
    4. Explore careers: Connect with Roadmap to Careers under the Popular Tools tab in your online score. 
    5. Get started on BigFuture to begin the college search. 
    6. See your school counselor if you need extra help! 

    Things to remember:

    • You will be taking the School Day SAT in the Spring of 2020!
    • Money!! You can earn up to $1,000 in scholarship money on RaiseMe for simply taking the PSAT/NMSQT and up to $10,500 for scoring well!
