The goals of Mariner Middle School include:
- Helping all students meet the state's Grade Level Expectations (GLE's) for ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Where deficits exist, it is our goal to make adjustments that will enable all students to meet the state's content and performance standards as measured by the DSTP.
- We also recognize that student learning requires effective teaching and leadership. Effective teaching and leadership require the belief that all children can learn the setting of high expectations, the creation of student center lessons, and the participation in professional development that is data driven, and centered on student achievement.
- Student achievement also requires an academic, physical, social, and emotional climate that is fostered and maintained by all stakeholders.
- It is our goal of Mariner Middle School to passionately establish and maintain a climate that supports student achievement and success.
