Letter From the Associate Principal:

Welcome to CHHS NGC

Parents and/or Guardians,

I would like to thank you for sending your sons and daughters to the Ninth Grade Campus. This year is going to be both a challenging and rewarding year for our students. It is my belief the freshman year is a critical year for students because it marks the beginning of their high school career. Our goal is to provide them with a very strong foundation. In order for this to happen, students will need to do the following:

  • Show self respect.
  • Always respect staff and peers.
  • Obey school and bus rules at all times.
  • Complete all classroom and homework assignments.
  • Get involved in extra-curricular activities.

The Parent Boosters, in conjunction with the Ninth Grade Staff, are planning some incentives for students such as a dance, an ice cream social, an assembly and a post DSTP talent show. The Student of the Month Program will continue this year with teachers having the opportunity to select a model student to represent their respective disciplines.

In closing, I invite you to be actively involved in your child's education at the Ninth Grade Campus. Also please continue to utilize the Home Access Center for your child's schedule, attendance, grades and report cards. If you would like to schedule a parent conference with your child's teacher, please feel free to contact Mr. Mattioni.

I look forward to a rewarding school year for you and your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at 645-6668.

Jacqueline H. Brisco
