We are proud to announce that on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, students from Mrs. Shuttleworth's class were honored at the annual Fire Prevention Awards Ceremony held at the Milton Fire Department.


Trevaughn Aiken was honored with first place in the Essay Contest and Hannah Scheer placed second.


Scott Thomas was honored for first place in the poster contest. Regina Pefley placed second and Hank Thomas placed third. These are all third graders.


Stanford Harpe placed first for the poster contest for the second grade.


Each student received a trophy and a smoke detector. Trevaughn, Scott and Stanford also got a new fire extinguisher.
